The development journey along with the grass root level groups has brought us to this stage where we are forced to respond to the timely needs whether it is natural disaster or man made disaster. At present we are also facilitating a Dalit women’s network at the State level. There are 78 women’s groups in our network. Dalits are considered as the untouchables in the caste system dominated by the upper caste. Dalits are the poorest among poor in two south Indian states, Tamil Nadu and Pondicherry.
